James Miles Beverley 
James Miles was born on December 22nd, 1776 in "Blandfield," Essex County, Virginia. James Miles' father was Robert Beverly and his mother was Marie Byrd Carter. He had eight brothers and seven sisters, named William, Robert Carter Jr, Robert III, Burton, Carter Sr, Byrd, Peter Randolph, McKenzie, Maria, Lucy, Anna Munford, Munford, Evelyn Byrd, Jane Bradshaw and Harriet. He was the eighth youngest of the sixteen children. He died at the age of 2 on April 8th, 1779 in "Blandfield," Essex County, Virginia.-
