Philipp von Hessen-Philippsthal-Barchfeld 
Philipp was born in 1728. Philipp's father was Wilhelm von Hessen-Philippsthal-Barchfeld and his mother was Charlotte von Anhalt-Bernburg. His paternal grandparents were Philipp von Hessen-Philippsthal and Katharine Amalie von Solms-Laubach. He had eight brothers and six sisters, named Wilhelm, Friedrich, Karl Wilhelm, Georg, Christian, Ludwig Friedri, Adolf, August, Charlotte, Johanna Charlo, Karoline, Ulrike Eleonor, Anne and Dorothea. He was the fourth oldest of the fifteen children. He died at the age of 17 in 1745.
