August von Hessen-Philippsthal-Barchfeld 
August was born in 1745. August's father was Wilhelm von Hessen-Philippsthal-Barchfeld and his mother was Charlotte von Anhalt-Bernburg. His paternal grandparents were Philipp von Hessen-Philippsthal and Katharine Amalie von Solms-Laubach. He had eight brothers and six sisters, named Wilhelm, Friedrich, Philipp, Karl Wilhelm, Georg, Christian, Ludwig Friedri, Adolf, Charlotte, Johanna Charlo, Karoline, Ulrike Eleonor, Anne and Dorothea. He was the youngest of the fifteen children. He died in 1745.
