Christian von Hessen-Philippsthal-Barchfeld 
Christian was born in 1740. Christian's father was Wilhelm von Hessen-Philippsthal-Barchfeld and his mother was Charlotte von Anhalt-Bernburg. His paternal grandparents were Philipp von Hessen-Philippsthal and Katharine Amalie von Solms-Laubach. He had eight brothers and six sisters, named Wilhelm, Friedrich, Philipp, Karl Wilhelm, Georg, Ludwig Friedri, Adolf, August, Charlotte, Johanna Charlo, Karoline, Ulrike Eleonor, Anne and Dorothea. He was the fourth youngest of the fifteen children. He died at the age of 10 in 1750.
