Dorothea von Hessen-Philippsthal-Barchfeld

Dorothea was born in 1738. Dorothea's father was Wilhelm von Hessen-Philippsthal-Barchfeld and her mother was Charlotte von Anhalt-Bernburg. Her paternal grandparents were Philipp von Hessen-Philippsthal and Katharine Amalie von Solms-Laubach. She had nine brothers and five sisters, named Wilhelm, Friedrich, Philipp, Karl Wilhelm, Georg, Christian, Ludwig Friedri, Adolf, August, Charlotte, Johanna Charlo, Karoline, Ulrike Eleonor and Anne. She was the fifth youngest of the fifteen children. She died at the age of 61 in 1799.
