Karoline von Hessen-Philippsthal-Barchfeld 
Karoline was born in 1731. Karoline's father was Wilhelm von Hessen-Philippsthal-Barchfeld and her mother was Charlotte von Anhalt-Bernburg. Her paternal grandparents were Philipp von Hessen-Philippsthal and Katharine Amalie von Solms-Laubach. She had nine brothers and five sisters, named Wilhelm, Friedrich, Philipp, Karl Wilhelm, Georg, Christian, Ludwig Friedri, Adolf, August, Charlotte, Johanna Charlo, Ulrike Eleonor, Anne and Dorothea. She was the sixth oldest of the fifteen children. She died at the age of 77 in 1808.
