Matthias Silas Troxell 
Matthias Silas was born on December 8th, 1857. Matthias Silas' father was Stephen Troxell and his mother was Esther Mickley. His paternal grandparents were John Troxell and Elizabeth Hittle. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Isaac Benjamin, Adam John Peter, Clinton Tilghman Martin, Allen Johnson, Daniel Joseph, Sabina, Jane Amanda, Walter N. and Elemina Louise. He was the youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 79 on January 2nd, 1937.General Notes
