Adam John Peter was born on September 25th, 1837 in S. Whitehall Twp., Lehigh Co., PA. Adam John Peter's father was Stephen Troxell and his mother was Esther Mickley. His paternal grandparents were John Troxell and Elizabeth Hittle. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Isaac Benjamin, Clinton Tilghman Martin, Allen Johnson, Daniel Joseph, Matthias Silas, Sabina, Jane Amanda, Walter N. and Elemina Louise. He was the third oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 60 on September 12th, 1898 in Frankfort, Clinton Co., IN.General Notes
