Rosannah `Rose` B. was born on March 24th, 1836 in Perry Co., AL. Rosannah `Rose` B.'s father was Alexander Spence and her mother was Ellender Hobson. Her maternal grandparents were Samuel Hobson and Judy Murphy. She had five brothers and six sisters, named John Franklin, Samuel Hobson, William N., Moses Foster, Weldon T., Judith Emaline, Elizabeth Martha, Willie Ann, Martha J. Elizabeth, Letha E. and Susan Frances. She was the fourth oldest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 77 on May 18th, 1913 in Pleasant Valley, Hale Co., AL.General Notes
