Samuel Hobson 
Samuel was born on March 24th, 1771 in Chatham Co., NC. Samuel's father was Jonathan William Hobson and his mother was Sarah Williams. His paternal grandparents were George+ Hobson and Hannah Elizabeth+ Kinneson; his maternal grandparents are Jonathan Williams and Mary X. He had six brothers and seven sisters, named William, John, Joseph, Jonathan, Nathan, George, Mary, Sarah, Hannah, Elizabeth, Deborah, Rachel and Martha. He was the fifth oldest of the fourteen children. He died at the age of 71 in 1842 in Bibb Co., AL.General Notes
