Joseph Hobson 
Joseph was born on December 10th, 1768 in Surry or Orange Co., NC. Joseph's father was Jonathan William Hobson and his mother was Sarah Williams. His paternal grandparents were George+ Hobson and Hannah Elizabeth+ Kinneson; his maternal grandparents are Jonathan Williams and Mary X. He had six brothers and seven sisters, named William, John, Samuel, Jonathan, Nathan, George, Mary, Sarah, Hannah, Elizabeth, Deborah, Rachel and Martha. He was the fourth oldest of the fourteen children. He died at the age of 57 in 1825 in Henry Co., IN.General Notes
