William Hobson 
William was born on April 17th, 1763 in Orange Co., NC. William's father was Jonathan William Hobson and his mother was Sarah Williams. His paternal grandparents were George+ Hobson and Hannah Elizabeth+ Kinneson; his maternal grandparents are Jonathan Williams and Mary X. He had six brothers and seven sisters, named John, Joseph, Samuel, Jonathan, Nathan, George, Mary, Sarah, Hannah, Elizabeth, Deborah, Rachel and Martha. He was the oldest of the fourteen children. He died at the age of 51 in 1814 in Chatham Co., NC.General Notes
