Judith Emaline was born in 1836 in Perry Co., AL. Judith Emaline's father was Alexander Spence and her mother was Ellender Hobson. Her maternal grandparents were Samuel Hobson and Judy Murphy. She had five brothers and six sisters, named John Franklin, Samuel Hobson, William N., Moses Foster, Weldon T., Rosannah `Rose` B., Elizabeth Martha, Willie Ann, Martha J. Elizabeth, Letha E. and Susan Frances. She was the third oldest of the twelve children. She died about 1875 in Itawamba Co., MS.General Notes
