William L. Mills 
William L. was born on February 15th, 1816 in Wayne Co., KY. William L.'s father was Caleb William Mills and his mother was Erzilla East. His paternal grandparents were John Mills and Martha Ewing; his maternal grandparents were North East and Kerenhappuch Peyton. He had a brother and five sisters, named Syddenham, Edna Ann, Josephine Doscia, Cleopatra Penelope, Adromacha and Keren Happuch. He was the third oldest of the seven children. He had two half-brothers named Charles and Alfonzo. He died at the age of 80 on February 14th, 1897 in Monroe, MO.General Notes
