Cleopatra Penelope was born on March 11th, 1824 in Crab Orchard, Wayne Co., KY. Cleopatra Penelope's father was Caleb William Mills and her mother was Erzilla East. Her paternal grandparents were John Mills and Martha Ewing; her maternal grandparents were North East and Kerenhappuch Peyton. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Syddenham, William L., Edna Ann, Josephine Doscia, Adromacha and Keren Happuch. She was the third youngest of the seven children. She had two half-brothers named Charles and Alfonzo. She died at the age of 79 on December 24th, 1903 in Newton, Harvey Co., KS.General Notes
