William Hoggatt 
William was born on September 7th, 1772 in Guilford, NC. William's father was John Hoggatt and his mother was Ruth Beals. His paternal grandparents are Philip Hoggatt and Mary Glendenning; his maternal grandparents were John III Beals and Margaret Esther Hunt. He had three brothers and three sisters, named John, Jesse, Moses, Rachel, Miriam and Ruth. He was the third youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 76 on October 5th, 1848 in NC.General Notes
