John Hoggatt 
John was born in 1728 in Louisa Co., VA. John's father is Philip Hoggatt and his mother is Mary Glendenning. He had two brothers named William and Anthony. He was the second oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 88 on June 5th, 1816 in NC.General Notes

John and Ruth were married in a religious ceremony in 1758. They had four sons and three daughters, named John, Jesse, Moses, William, Rachel, Miriam and Ruth.
