Ruth Hoggatt 
Ruth was born on September 2nd, 1777 in Guilford, NC. Ruth's father was John Hoggatt and her mother was Ruth Beals. Her paternal grandparents are Philip Hoggatt and Mary Glendenning; her maternal grandparents were John III Beals and Margaret Esther Hunt. She had four brothers and two sisters, named John, Jesse, Moses, William, Rachel and Miriam. She was the youngest of the seven children. She died at the age of 58 in August 1836 in Guilford, NC.General Notes
