Rachel Hoggatt 
Rachel was born on December 11th, 1761 in Rowan Co., NC. Rachel's father was John Hoggatt and her mother was Ruth Beals. Her paternal grandparents are Philip Hoggatt and Mary Glendenning; her maternal grandparents were John III Beals and Margaret Esther Hunt. She had four brothers and two sisters, named John, Jesse, Moses, William, Miriam and Ruth. She was the second oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 63 on October 19th, 1825 in Guilford, NC.General Notes
