Jesse Hockett 
Jesse was born on December 1st, 1763 in New Garden MM, Guilford, NC. Jesse's father was John Hoggatt and his mother was Ruth Beals. His paternal grandparents are Philip Hoggatt and Mary Glendenning; his maternal grandparents were John III Beals and Margaret Esther Hunt. He had three brothers and three sisters, named John, Moses, William, Rachel, Miriam and Ruth. He was the third oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 82 on September 20th, 1846 in Hendricks, IN.General Notes
