Joseph Hockett 
Joseph was born on November 2nd, 1764 in New Garden Mm, Guilford, NC. Joseph's father was William Hoggatt and his mother was Hannah Beals. His paternal grandparents are Philip Hoggatt and Mary Glendenning; his maternal grandparents were John III Beals and Margaret Esther Hunt. He had three brothers and two sisters, named William, Stephen, John, Margaret and Hannah. He was the second oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 78 on August 1st, 1843 in Rush, IN.General Notes
