William Hoggatt 
William was born on January 9th, 1763 in Guilford, NC. William's father was William Hoggatt and his mother was Hannah Beals. His paternal grandparents are Philip Hoggatt and Mary Glendenning; his maternal grandparents were John III Beals and Margaret Esther Hunt. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Joseph, Stephen, John, Margaret and Hannah. He was the oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 80 on August 7th, 1843 in Guilford, NC.General Notes
