Nathan Hockett 
Nathan was born on January 25th, 1791 in Guilford, NC. Nathan's father was Joseph Hockett and his mother was Ann Thornburgh. His paternal grandparents were William Hoggatt and Hannah Beals; his maternal grandparents are Joseph Thornburgh and Nancy Ann Armfield. He had a brother and four sisters, named John, Hannah, Margaret, Jane and Elizabeth. He is the third youngest of the six children.General Notes
