Romulus Augustus Hampton

Romulus Augustus was born on May 26th, 1839 in Wilkes Co., NC. Romulus Augustus' father was Micajah Hampton and his mother was Hannah Mikels. His maternal grandparents were David Hugh Michael and Lucinda Doty. He had eight brothers and a sister, named Turner, David, Noah, John, Rufus, Silas, Lorenzo, William and Mary. He was the second youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 69 on October 25th, 1908 in Johnson Co., MO.
