David Hampton

David was born on July 22nd, 1822 in Wilkes Co., NC. David's father was Micajah Hampton and his mother was Hannah Mikels. His maternal grandparents were David Hugh Michael and Lucinda Doty. He had eight brothers and a sister, named Turner, Noah, John, Rufus, Silas, Lorenzo, Romulus Augustus, William and Mary. He was the third oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 82 on September 16th, 1904 in Johnson Co., MO.
