Maud+ was born before October 1292. Maud+'s father was Robert De+ Brus and her mother was Margaret Of+ Carrick. Her paternal grandparents were Robert De+ Brus and Isabel De+ Clare; her maternal grandfather was Neil Of+ Carrick and her maternal grandmother is Margaret+ Stewart. She had a brother and four sisters, named Robert I+, Isabel+, Margaret+, Christian+ and Mary+. She was the youngest of the six children.General Notes
