Neil Of+ was born about 1205 in Carrick, Argyllshire, Scotland. Neil Of+'s father was Duncan Of+ Carrick and his mother is Avelina Fitzwalter+ Stewart. His paternal grandfather was Gilbert Of+ Galloway; his maternal grandfather was Alan Fitzalan+ Stewart and his maternal grandmother is Eve Of+ Crawford. He had two brothers and a sister, named John Of+, Nicholas Of+ and Efferic Of+. He was the second youngest of the four children. He died in 1256.General Notes
