His paternal grandfather was Gospatric I Of+ Dunbar and his paternal grandmother is Aethelreda Of+ England; his maternal grandparents were Henry I Of+ Normandy and Sibyl+ Corbet. He had a brother and three sisters, named Uchtred Of+, Bethoc De+, Margaret Of+ and Auffrica Of+. He was the third oldest of the five children. He died on January 1st, 1185.General Notes
