Her paternal grandparents were Siegfried De+ Luxembourg and Hedwig De+ Nordgau; her maternal grandfather was Herbert I+ Konradiner and her maternal grandmother is Irmentrude Von+ Maingau. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Friedrich II De+, Giselbert II De+, Irmentrude De+ and Gisele De+. She was the oldest of the five children.
