Leopald, known as "the Saint", was born about 1084 in Klosterneuburg, Niederèosterreich, Austria.  "the Saint"'s father was Margrave Leopald ("the Fair") II of Austria and his mother was Ida of Cham.  His paternal grandparents were Margrave Ernst ("the Valiant", "the Bold") of Austria and Princess Adelheid of Wettin; his maternal grandfather was Count Ratpoto IV of Cham and his maternal grandmother is Countess Mathilde of Kastl. He had two sisters named Adelheid and Elizabeth.  He died on November 15th, 1136.

‌"the Saint" and Agnes were married in a religious ceremony about 1106 in Klosterneuburg, Niederèosterreich, Austria.  They had four daughters named Bertha, Agnes, Jhutte and Gertrude.
