Elizabeth was born on May 30th, 1772 in Buckingham County, Virginia.1 Elizabeth's father was John II Bransford and her mother is Judith Amonett. Her paternal grandfather was John Bransford and her paternal grandmother is Mary Kingsford. She had eight brothers and a sister, named Thomas Bard, Frank, Benjamin, Stephen, Jacob, Samual, Abram, Robert and Patsy. She had three half-brothers and two half-sisters, named James, John III, William, Molly Mosely and Sally Agee.-
