John II Bransford 
John II was born about 1733 in Henrico County, Virginia. John II's father was John Bransford and his mother is Mary Kingsford. His paternal grandfather was John Bransford and his paternal grandmother is Jane Croke Wood. He had a brother and three sisters, named James, Barbara, Mollie and Elizabeth Betsy. He had a half-brother named Robert. He died in 1809 in Buckingham County, Virginia.General Notes
Learned the carpenter trade and made drums for the Revoluntionary Army.
He was once put in prison for letting a Baptist preacher preach in hishouse.
He was a member of the Episcopal Church and later became a Methodist. Hebuilt a large room for worship until a church was built.
According to the old family record, he is buried at the west end of theMansion House near the corner of his garden.
