Mary Hales Ayres 
Mary Hales was born on June 8th, 1803.1 Mary Hales' father was John (Parson Jack) Ayres Rev. and her mother is Elizabeth Bransford. Her paternal grandparents were Nathan Ayres Col. and Mary Christian Leake; her maternal grandfather was John II Bransford and her maternal grandmother is Judith Amonett. She had five brothers and four sisters, named John Bransford, Nathan "W", Samuel, Owen Million, Matthias Leake, Judith Leake, Martha, Elizabeth F. and Elijah. She is the fifth oldest of the ten children.-
