Elijah Ayres

Elijah was born on October 28th, 1809.¹ Elijah's father was John (Parson Jack) Ayres Rev. and her mother is Elizabeth Bransford. Her paternal grandparents were Nathan Ayres Col. and Mary Christian Leake; her maternal grandfather was John II Bransford and her maternal grandmother is Judith Amonett. She had five brothers and four sisters, named John Bransford, Nathan "W", Samuel, Owen Million, Matthias Leake, Judith Leake, Mary Hales, Martha and Elizabeth F.. She is the third youngest of the ten children.
