Mary Frances Ayres 
Mary Frances was born on February 24th, 1833 in Buckingham, Virginia.1 Mary Frances' father was John Bransford Ayres Col. and her mother was Mary Marshall Moseley. Her paternal grandfather was John (Parson Jack) Ayres Rev. and her paternal grandmother is Elizabeth Bransford; her maternal grandparents were Spotsford Lewis Moseley and Mary Marshall. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Nathan W., Robert Marshall, Edwin Moseley, Lewis Spotswood, Susannah, Emmeline Moseley and Nancy L.. She was the oldest of the eight children. She had four half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Albert B., John William, Samuel Ford, William B., Elizabeth Hannah Hales and Maria Ann. She died at the age of 22 in August 1855.2 -
