Edwin Moseley Ayres 
Edwin Moseley was born on April 1st, 1840.1 Edwin Moseley's father was John Bransford Ayres Col. and his mother was Mary Marshall Moseley. His paternal grandfather was John (Parson Jack) Ayres Rev. and his paternal grandmother is Elizabeth Bransford; his maternal grandparents were Spotsford Lewis Moseley and Mary Marshall. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Nathan W., Robert Marshall, Lewis Spotswood, Mary Frances, Susannah, Emmeline Moseley and Nancy L.. He is the fourth youngest of the eight children. He had four half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Albert B., John William, Samuel Ford, William B., Elizabeth Hannah Hales and Maria Ann.-
