Harold Basham 
Harold was born on June 24th, 1906 in Hancock Co., Kentucky.1 Harold's father was Jeremiah Henderson Basham and his mother was Sarah Ellen Higgs. His paternal grandparents were Cary Jackson 'Jack' Basham and Annis Warner; his maternal grandparents were Alfred Higgs and Sarah Jane Calloway. He had ten brothers and six sisters, named Finous, Harvey, Hilous, Benjamin Harrison (Ben), Eugene C (Gene), Eulace, Edward Otis, Ruthford, Flora, Chester, Bertha S., Pearl, Carrie, Essie, Anna Lee and Clara Louise. He was the second youngest of the seventeen children. He had a half-sister named Mary Jane. He died at the age of 50 on September 3rd, 1956 in Hancock Co., Kentucky.1 General Notes
