Flora Basham 
Flora was born on February 19th, 1900 in Hancock Co., Kentucky.1 Flora's father was Jeremiah Henderson Basham and his mother was Sarah Ellen Higgs. His paternal grandparents were Cary Jackson 'Jack' Basham and Annis Warner; his maternal grandparents were Alfred Higgs and Sarah Jane Calloway. He had ten brothers and six sisters, named Finous, Harvey, Hilous, Benjamin Harrison (Ben), Eugene C (Gene), Eulace, Edward Otis, Ruthford, Chester, Harold, Bertha S., Pearl, Carrie, Essie, Anna Lee and Clara Louise. He was the fifth youngest of the seventeen children. He had a half-sister named Mary Jane. He died on February 19th, 1900 in Hancock Co., Kentucky.1 General Notes
