Temperance Thompson

Temperance was born on October 3rd, 1830 in North Carolina?.¹ Temperance's father was Jeremiah Thompson and her mother was Sarah Elizabeth Tally Jones. Her paternal grandparents were Balaam Thompson and Olive Melton. She had seven brothers and five sisters, named Balaam, Thomas, Jeremiah, Elijah, Kennon Kendrick, John Washington, Andrew Jackson, Sarah, Margery Mary O., Mary Margany, Rebecca Ellen and Delilah Octavia. She was the third youngest of the thirteen children. She died at the age of 10 on October 3rd, 1840.¹
