Balaam Thompson

Balaam was born on October 30th, 1808 in Louisianna.¹ Balaam's father was Jeremiah Thompson and his mother was Sarah Elizabeth Tally Jones. His paternal grandparents were Balaam Thompson and Olive Melton. He had six brothers and six sisters, named Thomas, Jeremiah, Elijah, Kennon Kendrick, John Washington, Andrew Jackson, Sarah, Margery Mary O., Mary Margany, Rebecca Ellen, Delilah Octavia and Temperance. He was the oldest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 39 on February 18th, 1848.¹
