Lizzie Steele

Lizzie was born about 1887.¹ Lizzie's father was WILLIAM French Steele and her mother was RHODA Meadows. Her paternal grandparents were WILLIAM Henderson French and SARAH STEELE; her maternal grandfather was JORDAN Meadows and her maternal grandmother is SUSAN THOMAS. She had four brothers and nine sisters, named Augustus Lincoln, William Sherman, Francis Marion, Martin Luther, Sarah J., MARY Susan, Rebecca Marinda French, Laura F., Olivia, Flora Mae, Ester Garfield, Harriet and Mary L.. She was the youngest of the fourteen children. She died about 1896.¹
