Jeremiah Maxwell Meadows

Jeremiah Maxwell was born about 1846 in Greene Co., Virginia.¹ Jeremiah Maxwell's father is Joel Meadows and his mother is Elizabeth Breeding. His paternal grandparents were John Meadows and Mary Harness. He had two brothers and nine sisters, named John Wesley, Elijah Steward, Synda Ann, Sarah E., Mary Frances, Rebecca Jane, Susanna Eliza, Martha Susan, Nancy W., Matilda Catherine and Harriet Eliza. He is the fifth oldest of the twelve children.
