Emanuel Meadows 
Emanuel was born in 1823 in Monroe Co., WV.1 Emanuel's father was John Meadows and his mother was Elizabeth Wyant. His paternal grandparents were FRANCIS M. Meadows and MARY Kesiah Bell. He had seven brothers and five sisters, named Phillip, John, James J., Peter, Samuel P., Henderson Ward, Christopher Parkerson, Kesiah, Elizabeth, Nancy, Sarah and Catherine. He is the fifth youngest of the thirteen children.-
