John Meadows 
John was born on May 24th, 1809 in Monroe Co., Virginia.1 John's father was John Meadows and his mother was Elizabeth Wyant. His paternal grandparents were FRANCIS M. Meadows and MARY Kesiah Bell. He had seven brothers and five sisters, named Phillip, James J., Peter, Emanuel, Samuel P., Henderson Ward, Christopher Parkerson, Kesiah, Elizabeth, Nancy, Sarah and Catherine. He was the second oldest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 70 on March 10th, 1880 in NR Coffey, Daviess Co., Missouri.1 -
