Jean Paul Decuir 
Jean Paul was born on January 25th, 1757 in Pointe Coupee Post, Louisiana.1 Jean Paul's father was Jean Francois Decuir and his mother was Genevieve Mayeux. His paternal grandparents were ALBERT Decuir and Marie Catherine Dumaire; his maternal grandparents were PIERRE Mayeux and MARIE Francoise Cellier. He had six brothers and five sisters, named Pierre, Francois, Joseph, Jean Pierre, Antoine, Jean Baptiste Dorsin, Marguerite, Jeanne, Madeleine, Marie Anne and Genevieve. He died at the age of 37 on April 12th, 1794 in Pointe Coupee Post, Louisiana.1 -
