Jean Pierre Decuir 
Jean Pierre was born on August 19th, 1761 in Pointe Coupee, Louisiana.1 Jean Pierre's father was Jean Francois Decuir and his mother was Genevieve Mayeux. His paternal grandparents were ALBERT Decuir and Marie Catherine Dumaire; his maternal grandparents were PIERRE Mayeux and MARIE Francoise Cellier. He had six brothers and five sisters, named Pierre, Francois, Joseph, Jean Paul, Antoine, Jean Baptiste Dorsin, Marguerite, Jeanne, Madeleine, Marie Anne and Genevieve. He died at the age of 65 on February 6th, 1827 in New Orleans, Louisiana.1 -
