Joseph Decuir 
Joseph was born on August 30th, 1752 in Pointe Coupee, Louisiana.1 Joseph's father was Jean Francois Decuir and his mother was Genevieve Mayeux. His paternal grandparents were ALBERT Decuir and Marie Catherine Dumaire; his maternal grandparents were PIERRE Mayeux and MARIE Francoise Cellier. He had six brothers and five sisters, named Pierre, Francois, Jean Paul, Jean Pierre, Antoine, Jean Baptiste Dorsin, Marguerite, Jeanne, Madeleine, Marie Anne and Genevieve. He died at the age of 70 in 1822.1 -
