Zenon Decuir 
Zenon was born in September 1794 in Pointe Coupee, Louisiana.1 Zenon's father was Jean Paul Decuir and his mother was Marie Jeanne LeGue. His paternal grandparents were Jean Francois Decuir and Genevieve Mayeux; his maternal grandparents were Rene Legue and Catherine Olivo. He had a brother and five sisters, named Paulin, Augustine, Constance, Emilie, Rosalie and Severine. He was the youngest of the seven children.1 -
