MARY Obedience was born in 1712 in Prince George Co.,Virginia.1 MARY Obedience's father was HENRY Clay and her mother was MARY Mitchell. Her paternal grandparents were CHARLES Clay and HANNAH Wilson; her maternal grandfather was WILLIAM Mitchell and her maternal grandmother is ELIZABETH Innes. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Henry, John, Charles, William Mitchell, Amey and Martha. She died at the age of 58 in 1770 in Chesterfield Co., Virginia.1 -
