Charles Clay 
Charles was born in Powhattan Co., Virginia.1 Charles' father was HENRY Clay and his mother was MARY Mitchell. His paternal grandparents were CHARLES Clay and HANNAH Wilson; his maternal grandfather was WILLIAM Mitchell and his maternal grandmother is ELIZABETH Innes. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Henry, John, William Mitchell, MARY Obedience, Amey and Martha. He died on February 25th, 1789 in Powhattan Co., Virginia.1 -
